Order Acknowledgment

Order acknowledgement is the process of accepting or rejecting an order once it's received. It only applies to channels that support acknowledgement in the first place — the setting is configured per channel.

Automatic vs. manual acknowledgement

• Automatic acknowledgement — every order received from that channel is accepted by default, with no manual step required.
• Manual acknowledgement — incoming orders are downloaded with a status of Awaiting Acknowledgement, and each order line has its own accept or reject action.

Once an order (or order line) is accepted, it moves to the Ready for Shipping status and can then be processed for fulfilment.
